Everything you need to know about getting your car and cargo to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

What does it mean to process a car through customs?

When your vehicle arrives in St. Thomas it has to go through a series of government steps before it can be driven legally on island — customs processing, road tax payment, inspection, and BMV registration. We handle all of those steps on your behalf so you don't have to figure out which office to go to or what forms to bring. You hand us the documents and we take it from there.

Arrive & Drive is our vehicle registration service. Whether your car just landed at the port, has been sitting on island unregistered, or simply needs its registration renewed, we handle every step to get it road legal — so you can focus on settling into island life.

From the day your car arrives at the port, the process normally takes 5 business days before your car is registered and ready to drive. We keep you updated every step of the way.

Our Arrive & Drive Full Service is $350. Registration Only and Registration Renewal are both $150. Government fees — road tax, import duty, and DMV registration — are separate and vary depending on your vehicle's weight, value, and country of manufacture. We calculate everything upfront and give you a full estimate before we start. No surprises.

We are the island-side experts but we can help connect you with trusted mainland carriers for Florida to USVI shipments. Tell us your situation and we will point you in the right direction. Once your car or cargo arrives on island we take over completely.

You will need the original lien-free vehicle title, a government-issued photo ID, and proof of vehicle insurance. We handle all the government forms and every office visit from there.

Yes. After processing on St. Thomas we coordinate barge transport to Cruz Bay and can arrange local delivery on St. John.

No. We handle everything on your behalf. Many of our clients ship their car ahead of their move date and arrive to find it registered and waiting. For the airport concierge option we can have your car in the parking lot when you land.

If you are flying into St. Thomas we can have your car fully registered, plated, and waiting in the airport parking lot the day you arrive. You step off the plane, grab your bags, and drive straight to your new home. Ask about this option when you request your quote.

We handle your USVI vehicle registration renewal from start to finish. You can drop your paperwork off to us or we will come pick it up from you — pickup is included at no extra charge. Once your renewal is processed we return everything to you. Simple.
